Rocky Mountain Natural Gas Company (Black Hills Energy) – Numerous boundary, right-of-way, and improvement surveys in the Roaring Fork Valley, Craig and Meeker areas, including as-built improvement and property line locations for preparation of easement descriptions for a main transmission line running from Rifle to Avon, Colorado.
Lead King Basin, Gunnison County – Reestablished Winchester Claims 1 and 2 originally laid out in 1909. Work included research and field survey, locating original building, and tunnel opening.
Mamm Creek Gravel Pit, Garfield County – Field survey cross-sections of 4.7 miles of the Colorado River between Silt and Rifle for a hydraulic study.
Martino Ranch, Garfield County – Performed boundary survey on this 105-acre section of land.
Stillwater Ranch P.U.D., Garfield County – Prepared improvement, topographic surveys, and subdivision platting of this 1,194-lot residential/golf course subdivision. Construction staking for irrigation ditches, roadways, utilities, golf course and home sites using both GPS and conventional methods.
Arrowhead River Ranch, Eagle County – Prepared improvement survey and platting for a twenty-lot residential subdivision including construction staking for utilities, roadways, and houses using GPS and conventional methods.
Spring Valley Ranch, Denver – Boundary survey, aerial topographic mapping, design and construction surveys and construction staking for a 2,233-acre subdivision.
Rose Ranch, Glenwood Springs – Aerial topographic mapping, road design, boundary survey, and construction staking for a 534-acre tract including 18-hole championship golf course with 322 lots.
Aspen Skiing Company, Ground Control Survey – HCE was subcontracted to Aerometric Air Photo Service to provide the ground control network for the aerial topographic mapping of Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass Mountain Ski Areas.
HARN GPS Control Point Survey – Establishment of three (3) high accuracy reference network points for the City of Glenwood Springs and three HARN points between Gypsum and Glenwood Springs in conjunction with the National Geodetic Survey and the Colorado Department of Transportation. HCE is one of two Colorado firms that have worked with CDOT and NGS to establish this type of control.
HARN GPS Control Point Survey – Establishment of nine (9) high accuracy reference network points and five HARN points for the City of Rifle in conjunction with the National Geodetic Survey and the Colorado Department of Transportation. HCE is one of two Colorado firms that have worked with CDOT and NGS to establish this type of control.
Tagert Lakes, Pitkin County – Surveyed this tract of land consisting of three parcels, which included boundary surveys for conservation easements and parceling purposes.
Schweppe Ranch, Eagle County – Prepared an improvement survey plat for this piece of land located north of the Frying Pan River and Seven Castles area and surrounded by U.S. Forest Service property, which was last surveyed in 1891.
Nickelson Creek Ranch, Pitkin County – A tract of land formerly known as Sharp Ranch. HCE completed an improvement survey using GPS equipment for this land located off of Capitol Creek Road at the base of the Maroon Bells, including the preparation of exhibits and property descriptions for land transfers.
Deer Park Ranch, Garfield County, Colorado – ALTA/ACSM survey for sale of a 3478-acre ranch.
Buck Point Ranch, Garfield County, Colorado – Boundary survey, aerial topographic mapping and road design surveying for 1146-acre ranch.
Upper and Lower Grange Ranches, Garfield County, Colorado – Boundary surveying, aerial topographic mapping, platting, and design surveying for 3,355 acres of large lot subdivisions.
Maverick Ranch, Garfield County, Colorado – Boundary survey, aerial topographic mapping, and design surveying for a 3,600 acre, residential subdivision with 8 miles of internal roads and utilities.
Aspen Glen P.U.D., Garfield County, Colorado – Boundary surveys and aerial topographic mapping for each of the two ranch properties combined for this 940-acre, exclusive development.
